Block-level is going to be added in the version 2.5.1 that is coming later this month or (depending on how testing stage goes) early September.

Out of curiosity, what kind of files do you plan to backup with block-level?

No clue, I just know that it's supposed to make BU faster when you are only altering portions of files. Things like large photos, music files, general docs. Does this not make a difference?

It does, of course, we're just trying to think cases through - it could be something specific that would require additional handling.
