I have an old file image backup on AWS Glacier that I need to restore from many years ago. I do not have access to the Cloud Berry backup software that created this backup. I tried to restore from Cloud berry Explorer Freeware and it says decryption password incorrect. I've checked in options and there is no where to enter the password. Is there somewhere to enter the decryption password in this version? Do I need a paid version? I literally need one file restored, lol. I downloaded the Wasabi Explorer version and it has a place for a password, but I need to access a Glacier bucket.
When I try to restore with the desktop version of BAckup, it doesnt see the AWS bucket where my data resides. It does show a single bucket, but doesnt list any data in that bucket. The Explorer product shows all of my data. Is there a way to force it to pull an inventory? Doesnt seem like there are many options other than adding the account.
I have no idea what the prefix should be. I can browse all of the data in the vault with CloudBerry Explorer, but cant see anything within the server version. I have tried entering a prefix with Regular mode and also choosing restore only. restore only gives me a "Cannot find a prefix in backup storage" error. Thanks
No. These backups were done a long time ago, no clue what the computer name was that created them. They are file level backups. I can see all the files just fine from Explorer, but cant enter a decryption password like I can in the Wasabi Explorer version.
