I'm running out of room on my OS drive so I thought I'd just buy a larger drive, run an image based backup and restore it onto a larger drive. It works no problem except it just lays out the partitions exactly as they were with the rest of the space as unallocated at the end of the drive. Probably a long shot but is there any way to make the restore add more of the available storage to a partition, particularly the OS partition?
