We tried to resolve this issue by running the command "vssadmin delete shadows /all" remotely, but whenever we run the command using our RMM Agent Browser (with admin privileges), it asks "Do you really want to delete 21 shadow copies (Y/N): [N]? N"
In other words, it looks like it is asking if we really want to delete them, and it automatically answers "No", without actually giving us the chance to respond. This issue occurs with both CMD and PowerShell. Has anyone had this issue before? And does anyone know of a workaround?
We wanted to make sure we can resolve this remotely, due to how widespread the issue is and how many computers it would involve.
We ran the following command on the computer having the VSS errors, and it seems to have resolved the issue. Has anyone had any experience with this sort of problem before?
Here is the command we ran:
vssadmin delete shadows /all /quiet
Is this recommended for resolving all VSS related errors?
