    Hi,

I've configured my backup plan to use S3 Glacier Deep Archive and also to generate a detailed report. However, it seems that the detailed reports are saved under the S3 bucket with the same storage tier (Deep Archive) and the problem is that Deep Archive does not allow you to change the access parameter to read the report. Therefore, the report saved as an object is unreadable.

AWS clearly states the following when you display the object in the console:

"This object is in Glacier Deep Archive. You cannot download it or make it public. You cannot edit any property or permission"

I've not seen any CloudBerry Backup setting enabling me to specify another location and storage tier for the backup detailed report. Is this feature not existing ?

    Thanks
    Nicolas

    Hi Nicolas,
Thank you for raising up this topic.
I will talk to the team how can we avoid putting reports to Glacier/GlacierDeepArchive.
I'll update this thread on Monday once I have more details.

    Thank you,
    Anton

Known issue, unfortunately, but will be fixed in 2.9 update. Stay tuned for new version, should be released soon.
