We're in Ireland, but are hosting client data on Backblaze in the US. Backblaze now offer storage in Ireland, which we'd like to move to. They don't yet offer moving between facilities directly, so we'd need to create a second account and choose Ireland as the location.
The end result I need is for all client machines to begin backing up to the new account and then delete the original one as soon as all clients have full backup histories, according to the retention policy. I take it the first step would be to add the new second Backblaze account under Storage > Storage Accounts. What would be the best strategy from that point?
You can use Cloudberry Explorer to move all of the data between the buckets, after that you just need to synchronize the repository via tools > options > repository menu in the backup agent while your new destination is selected.
Note:
1) You need to copy the whole folder structure starting from MBS ID folder
2) The procedure is likely to take a lot of time to complete, since B2 doesn't offer in-cloud move operations, so everything will be transferred through your PC.
