    Hi Guys,

    We've previously configured scheduled backups for File level, VM level & SQL level. However, we've removed the schedule from the backup plans & now there's no backups that are performed. since weeks.
    The earlier backed up data's retention policy were set for - NEVER delete any version

    Now, we want to delete all the backed up data. So, we went into respective backup plans & modified the retention policy to the following;
    "Delete versions older than - File Version age: 1 day from backup date"
    We saved the settings. Ideally, this should delete the data as the backups have taken place weeks ago but there's no deletion that's happening. So, please let us know how to delete the data as we want to free up the space utilized in Azure storage accounts.

    Regards,
    Gaurav N.

    Old data purge happens only upon successful plan run.

    If you simply need to delete every piece of data uploaded fro ma certain machine it's better to follow this guide: https://mspbackups.com/Admin/Help.aspx?c=Contents%2Fhelp_drop_users.html
